Two Modes, One Proof Standard
TimeProof offers two timestamp modes:
- Scheduled timestamps for low-cost batch anchoring
- Instant timestamps for verified near-immediate anchoring
Both modes hash the file client-side and anchor proof data to Polygon. The proof standard is the same. The difference is cost, timing, and access control.

When Scheduled Is the Better Choice
Choose scheduled mode when:

- Same-day proof is acceptable
Scheduled is the cheapest way to establish independent proof for routine work.
When Instant Is the Better Choice
Choose instant mode when:
- You need proof right before sharing or publishing
- A dispute is active and timing matters immediately
- You want the blockchain record confirmed right away
- The file is high-value and the extra credit cost is justified
Instant is available only after identity verification through a monthly plan.
How Legal-Grade Fits In
Legal-Grade is not a third timestamp type. It is a verified batch upgrade that can be applied to either mode.

- Instant + Legal-Grade: near-immediate anchoring plus courtroom-ready evidence
On Starter and Pro, Legal-Grade costs 50 credits for up to 25 files, then +2 credits per file after 25. On Business it costs 25 credits for up to 25 files, then +1 credit per file after 25. On Enterprise it is included.
